Executive Summary
NativePresence is a digital sanctuary built by and for Indigenous peoples, where memory, prayer, and presence are honored — not harvested. Unlike mainstream platforms that extract data for profit, we provide a vetted, ICIP-aligned digital territory for Indigenous-led research, kinship networks, and intergenerational memory.
The Problem: Data Extraction & Erasure
- Data Extraction: Mainstream platforms mine Indigenous data for AI training and commercial gain.
- Cultural Appropriation: Sacred images and ceremonies are often exploited without consent.
- Safety Gaps: Territories lack emergency alert systems designed for land-based boundaries.
Our Solution: Infrastructure Sovereignty
We have engineered a “technical fence” around Indigenous Cultural and Intellectual Property (ICIP) through:
- ICIP-Compliant Infrastructure: Built-in blocks against unauthorized scraping.
- Geofenced Protective Alerts: Safety notices based on territory boundaries, not persistent surveillance.
- Multi-generational Access: A safe, ad-free corridor for Elder-to-Youth knowledge transfer.
